We Know that breakfast is the most important meal of the day and if you’re trying to think of some breakfast ideas that are clean, it is vital to understand what you eat, inside out.
Average Breakfast options such as baked goods, processed meats which include bacon and sausage are a no go, these things are not recommended in the eating lifestyle. (We still enjoy nitrate free bacon occasionally as of now but removing cereal was huge for my kids)
Don’t over complicate Breakfast, alter or just reinvent your old breakfast recipes to make them more suitable to your regime.
Cereal
I highly recommend you stop buying it.
If you must, check the ingredients and select breakfast cereals with healthy ingredients with at least 5 g of fiber per serving. Avoid products that have components that you aren’t familiar with, or you can’t pronounce. Remember, cereal is all processed.
Some cases of clean eating Breakfast cereals incorporate oatmeal and bran cereals without salt and sugar. Oatmeal may be cooked with any milk or water and served with a broad array of ingredients such as berries, raisins, nuts or shaved dark chocolate. Chocolate for breakfast? Maybe.
Don’t have time to make breakfast? Grab a cup of oatmeal and soak overnight in soy milk, or cow milk, some water or almond milk and then let it rest in your refrigerator. Add some chopped bananas and berries to your oatmeal for a perfect breakfast before you are headed to work. We like to add our plant based protein to it too.
Eggs
Protein is vital in any eating plan, and you can’t go wrong by selecting eggs.
If Simply by adding 2 to three egg whites to one egg, you aim to shed weight and gain muscle mass, you can add more protein into your breakfast without calories. Egg whites do not include saturated fat, however, are abundant in muscle protein.
Eggs can be incorporated Into breakfast salads together with avocado or they can be made into an omelet with fresh sautéed vegetables like peppers, spinach, mushrooms and cheese.
Green smoothies
The best way to eat more greens is through a smoothie. (Kids love them too!) Add a handful of spinach or kale to ground flax seeds for that punch and blend together with a banana and frozen berries with your choice of milk or water. Again, we also add chocolate or vanilla plant based protein powder. You can also freeze it up as a fruit pop too!
Just because you can not Have flour that is white, does not mean you should quit in your baked goodies. Baked goods that are made of whole grain flour and natural sweeteners such as banana or stevia make for excellent breakfasts that are clean.
Muffins, breakfast bars and waffles Can be made with creativity and experimentation for clean Eating breakfasts, include nuts, bananas, and berries for added flavor And natural texture.

Equipment
- 2 mugs or jars
Ingredients
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
- 1/2 cup non-dairy yogurt (or mashed banana)
- 2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
- a dash of salt
- honey to taste
- 1 cup GF rolled oats
- 1 scoop chocolate plant based protein powder for more deliciousness
Instructions
- Mix all of the ingredients together in a bowl
- Divide between 2 small bowls, mugs, or jars
- Cover and refrigerate overnight or until the oats soften and absorb the liquid
- Top with chopped nuts and or fresh fruit
