Five years ago I found myself asking everyone I came into contact with about their job. While getting a mammogram, ultrasound, different shops around town, wanting to know how they ended up getting that specific job and what I needed to do to get hired. Sound crazy? Ha! You see, I was fortunate enough to have fulfilled my dream job goals as a professional performer before marrying the man of my dreams. Yay! Now, waking up with the luxury of being a stay at home mother of two great kids I found myself wanting and needing more. I was looking for purpose! Purpose outside of my family. Meanwhile, my son is having horrible emotional outbursts at home, my daughter is getting strep at least once a year, I became a run down Mom with pneumonia and chronic cystic acne, and all four of us were struggling with seasonal allergies. All leading me in the direction of learning more about the power of gut health, eating more whole foods, and the importance of surrounding myself with a like minded community providing several different healthy outlets. (Clearly I had enough going on at home to keep me busy but why not want for more?) Finally, I reached out to my health conscious cousin that taught me and my family how we could impact our lives daily with one simple change. Next thing I know, I am helping others do the same, even working with schools across the country promoting healthy learning and growing too. I am not a vegetarian but my family has found a new love for plant based meals and the power of functional nutrition. I am here for you and want to help YOU live your best life. Consider me a cheerleader in your corner rooting for all of your success. What does “your best life” look like? Have you ever thought about that before? How do you feel during the day in “your best life?” Where do you live? What do you do for fun? What do you eat? Did you change careers? Do you have a side husstle? Do you have kids or grandchildren that you want to crawl around with? Do you travel? Asking yourself questions can open you up to a better understanding of what it is you may be looking for. It may change as your life continues to change so I encourage you to ask yourself these questions every 5 years or so. Living MY best life has always been around prevention. As a proffessional athlete/performer it started with injury prevention and then moved into illness prevention as I became older and wiser as a mother raising children. Over the past several years I have learned many Whole Food Hacks and Whole Lifestyle Hacks that I can’t wait to share with others that may have found themselves in my same position of health and or lifestyle frustration.
